Marked by mostly traditional and Craftsman homes, Queen Anne is named for its “Queen Anne” style houses and is noted for its family friendly setting, outdoor pool for summer use, hills for sledding in winter and walkability to stellar schools and parks. Though situated in close proximity to downtown Seattle, some would say Queen Anne functions as its own “island” where residents find all they need close to home at one-of-a-kind restaurants and shopping experiences along Queen Anne Avenue.

Best of all, it has some of the most stunning views in the entire city. Residents and visitors, alike, flock to Queen Anne’s Kerry Park, where you can enjoy beautiful sunsets setting over the Seattle skyline.

Highland Drive

One of the best pedestrian walks in all of Seattle is from West Highland Drive through 8th Place West. Enjoy a leisurely stroll and capture the Seattle skyline, Space Needle, Mount Rainier, and Elliott Bay views from Kinnear Park. You might even have a Frasier flashback. There are also stately homes built at the turn of the century in the Queen Anne style to admire. A little further along and you will have a captivating view of the Magnolia marina, cruise ship terminals, and breathtaking Olympic range as the sun sets.
